Pardon me slipping an extra post in this month – I will not make a habit of it!

Firstly, we hope to see you at this evening’s meeting where Jonathan Turner will tell us about the local sea captain William White – trader, privateer and explorer. Kingswear Hall 7:30pm.

Secondly I would like to tell you that we have a Church Recording Group led by the experienced church archivist Ken Scott. His team are recording all the details of the fabric and furnishings of our church for posterity. They would welcome additional members. If you would like to sample their activity, they would be delighted to welcome you at any Church Recording session 9-11am on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month. Thirdly, to let you know I have made a small beginning to a photo and map gallery for our website HERE. If you have any old maps or photographs of Kingswear ancestors, buildings or events I would be delighted to add them to the website.

Finally to let you know that, in the past week this website has received 126 views of which 40 were for the next meeting. While most visitors were from the UK, 3 were from the USA, 3 from the Netherlands and 1 from Australia.
