John Jellard sailed his barque round the world in 1856, surviving pirate attacks and hurricanes before dying in mysterious circomstance in New Zealand.
Please join us in Kingswear Hall at 7:30 pm on the 10th February. £5 admittance which icludes tea / coffee and biscuits after the presentation.

I said at my 13 Jan Presentation on Kingswear 1841 – 1921 that I would put the presetation and supporting data on our website.

I was delighted that so many (39) turned out on a January evening.
I was contacted by Viv and Michael Short whose ancestors featured prominently in my presentation. They provided 2 relevant pictures which appear HERE. They also reminded me of the proud boast of their house-building family “we dont build houses – we build villas”.
