From the Dart to the Red Sea

Jonathan Turner gives our last talk of the 25/26 season, He will tell us the story of Vernon MacAndrew who lived in Dartmouth in the 1920s and 1930s.

A retired shipping line owner and a philanthropist, MacAndrew has now been honoured with a Blue Plaque thanks to the efforts of the Dartmouth and Kingswear Society and the Dartmouth Museum.

Entrance to this event costs £5 which is payable on entrance.

Complimentary tea / coffee and biscuits will be available after the presentation and this also provides an opportunity to socialise with others interested in our local history.
