NOTE:  My Father, Reg Little passed away on 16th February 2016 aged 88.  This blog will live on as a testament to his life and times.

Reg Little [20th June 1927 – 16th February 2016]

I moved to Kingswear in 1932, as a young boy with my family and have had a wonderful life here by the River Dart.  I am now aged 88 and still living in Kingswear.

I have thoroughly enjoyed re-living my scouting and Royal Engineers memories while putting together these reminiscences.   I learned many things from my scouting and army days that have helped me in life.

I have also included here, the memories others have of their life in Kingswear including Ian Giles (see separate pages) whose writing of his time in Kingswear as a teenager in the 1950s is particularly descriptive and atmospheric !

My son, Robert, is helping me get all this on line and he will be adding photos and video as and when he has time.

I hope these stories have brought back memories to some and given insight to others.
